Tribeca Film Festival Selects “The Bully Project”
March 11, 2011 — The 2011 Tribeca Film Festival announced the first films that will appear as part of its 2011 slate. Among the 12 films in this year’s World Documentary Feature Competition is “The Bully Project.”
“In programming the Festival thie year, we had to make some incredibly difficult decisions, but we are excited about the quality, ingenuity, risk-taking and diversity of this year’s program,” says David Kwok, Director fo Programming. “The Bully Project” was chosen from a field of 5,624 entries.
In making its world premier, “The Bully Project” will be appearing with works from 32 countries.
The Tribeca Film Festival was founded by Robert DeNiro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff in 2001. It will take place April 20 through May 1.
